Oat Groats - Organic - Gluten Free - 2.5 Lb Bag - Case 2

We've tried many different brands of oats, and the GF Harvest organic oats are the best ever. We've tried their organic groats, organic steel-cut, organic rolled, traditional groats, and traditional steel-cut. The organic groats and steel-cut are fantastic - far, far, superior to the GF Harvest traditional, and also far better than any other brand, including Bob's Red Mill, Arrowhead, Cream Hill Estates, and McCann's. (McCann's, by the way, is not gluten-free - we've tested them using the EZ Gluten test kit, and celiacs should not go near them). The GF Harvest organic rolled oats, on the other hand, are nowhere near as good as the organic groats or the steel-cut. Our only complaints with the organic groats and steel-cut: 1) they're not always available, and 2) the shipping is so high.

I soak the organic oat groats in spring water overnight, rinse and pulse blend in vita mix with a small amount of spring water. I then add a cup of coconut milk and cinnamon for a great tasting breakfast. This supports a healthy digestive system. I find these oat groats to be tasty and sweet.

Oat groats are so delicious! However it does take a while to cook...that's the nature of groats. So, I put 'em in slow cooker overnight (and cook enough to last several mornings).

I could not find organic gluten free oat groats at my local stores.I am very glad that I found this product online from GF Harvest. Product is great! I cook oat groats overnight in slow cooker and have a delicious breakfast.

I purchased a 25 lb bag of organic oat groats a couple of months ago,and I love them.I'm thinking to buy a oat flaker,so I can make my own rolled oats.They taste delicious.

When we flake these in an oat flaker, or crack them in a grain grinder, these make possibly the best oats we've ever had - organic or not, gluten-free or not. Unfortunately, the GF organic "Old-fashioned Rolled Oats" from GF Harvest do not measure up. They're way too thin - more like quick oats than old-fashioned - and they don't taste nearly as good. Our wish list: 1) Sell the GF organic groats on Amazon. 2) Start manufacturing organic, GF steel-cut oats, as well. 3) Make your "old-fashioned" rolled oats really thick. Maybe they'll taste a lot better!

I love their oat groats, so much so that we bought a flaker to make oatmeal and a grain mill so we can freshly grind our flour. You put your nose in the bag and breath, mmmm pure fresh goodness... Not to mention Customer service is great.

I have missed having oatmeal because of the contamination issue - No more.
